The club extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who were close to him.


Eriksson's illustrious career spanned over four decades, during which he managed numerous clubs and national teams around the globe. His achievements include winning the UEFA Cup, Swedish League, and two Swedish Cups with Göteborg; a Cup Winners' Cup, European Super Cup, Italian League, two Italian Cups, and two Italian Super Cups with S.S. Lazio; three Portuguese Leagues, a Portuguese Cup, and a Portuguese Super Cup with Benfica; an Italian Cup with Roma; and another Italian Cup with Sampdoria.


On the international stage, Eriksson guided England through the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, the 2006 World Cup in Germany, and Euro 2004 in Portugal. He also led the Ivory Coast at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and managed the national teams of Mexico and the Philippines.


Sven-Göran Eriksson passed away at the age of 76. May his soul rest in peace.
