The 18-year-old, who officially joined Real Madrid in July after signing in December 2022, had already made his mark in La Liga with a goal on his debut in August during a brief appearance against Real Valladolid.
During Tuesday night's match against Stuttgart, Endrick showcased his talent once again. With Real Madrid leading 2-1 thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappé and Antonio Rüdiger, Endrick sealed the win in dramatic fashion. In the fifth minute of second-half injury time, he picked up the ball in his own half and charged toward the Stuttgart defense.
Despite having Kylian Mbappé and VinÃcius Júnior in support, Endrick opted to take the shot himself from 25 yards out. Stuttgart’s goalkeeper, Alexander Nübel, was unable to stop the powerful strike, which found the back of the net to make it 3-1 for Real Madrid. With this goal, Endrick became the youngest player in the club’s history to score in the Champions League, at just 18 years, one month, and 27 days—surpassing Raúl’s previous record of 18 years, three months, and 21 days.
Endrick’s performance has earned him high praise from his teammates. Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois compared the young Brazilian to former Chelsea and Real Madrid star Eden Hazard, pointing out similarities in their strength and technique.
