Bellingham, now 21, has enjoyed a meteoric rise since joining Real Madrid in 2023, winning both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League in his first season at the club.
Although his campaign with England at Euro 2024 ended in disappointment, the former Birmingham City player has quickly established himself as a crucial part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
With new arrivals like Endrick and Kylian Mbappe settling into the team, comparisons between Bellingham and past Real Madrid legends have started to circulate.
When asked if he sees himself as Zidane’s successor at the Bernabeu, Bellingham confidently responded, "I'm not here to be Zidane; he was amazing. I’m here to be Jude Bellingham and continue the legacy of the number 5."
His strong sense of identity has quickly won over fans in Spain. During his debut season with Real Madrid, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder recorded 23 goals and 13 assists.
