"Top 100 Teenage Footballers Ranked: Lamine Yamal Edges Ahead of Endrick in Latest Rankings"

The debate surrounding the comparisons between Lamine Yamal and Endrick has taken a new turn with the latest rankings from the CIES Football Observatory, which has compiled a list of the top 100 teenage football talents worldwide.

Yamal and Endrick have frequently been pitted against one another, especially now that Endrick has signed with Real Madrid, the reigning La Liga and European champions. This rivalry is set to grow in the coming years, but current rankings suggest Yamal holds the upper hand for now.

At just 17 years old, Yamal has already made a name for himself, playing a pivotal role in Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph and earning the prestigious Young Player of the Tournament award. His on-field maturity is well beyond his years, and according to the CIES report, he boasts 2.75 times the experience of an average player of his age and position.

The rankings consider players' experience based on minutes played and the level of competition they faced last season. Yamal’s teammate, Pau Cubarsi, ranks second with 2.42 times the average experience, while Endrick follows closely with 2.40 times.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaire-Emery comes in fourth with 2.40 times the average experience, reflecting the high level of competition he's faced.

In the Premier League, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo leads with 2.32 times the average experience, making him the highest-ranked player from England’s top flight. Other notable Premier League names include Tottenham’s Archie Gray (2.31), Newcastle’s Lewis Miley (2.19), United’s new signing Leny Yoro (2.08), and Manchester City’s Rico Lewis (1.89).

Further standout players in the rankings include Joao Neves (2.34), Jobe Bellingham (2.01), Chelsea’s Kendry Paez (2.27), and Estevao Willian (2.12), all of whom have demonstrated exceptional talent and potential.
